Last updated: 2025
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the freight and logistics services provided by Veyron Logistics Pty Ltd (ABN 55 703 583 028), trading from Melbourne VIC, Australia (“Veyron Logistics”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By engaging our services, requesting a quote through our website, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
Veyron Logistics provides freight and logistics services, including the transport, handling and coordination of goods across Australia. The specific services to be provided, including scope, routes, timelines and pricing, will be set out in the quote or service agreement we provide to you. Any variation to the agreed services must be confirmed in writing by both parties.
3. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes provided by Veyron Logistics are valid for the period stated in the quote or, where no period is stated, for 14 days from the date of issue. Quotes are based on the information you provide regarding the nature, weight, volume and destination of the goods. Prices may be adjusted if the actual particulars of the consignment differ materially from the information provided, or if fuel, tolls, regulatory charges or accessorial costs change before the services are performed.
4. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date. We may require a deposit or payment in advance for certain services, including first-time customers or specialised consignments. Overdue amounts may accrue interest at the rate prescribed under applicable law. Where goods remain unpaid, we may exercise a lien over the goods in accordance with applicable law.
5. Your Obligations
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about the goods, including their nature, weight, dimensions, packaging and any special handling requirements;
- Ensure goods are properly packaged, labelled and, where required, compliant with dangerous goods regulations;
- Ensure all customs, biosecurity and regulatory documentation is accurate and lawful for the movement of goods;
- Ensure safe and lawful access to pickup and delivery locations, including any site access requirements;
- Not tender goods that are illegal, hazardous or prohibited unless expressly agreed and compliant with all applicable laws.
6. Dangerous and Prohibited Goods
Goods that are dangerous, hazardous, perishable, fragile or of high value must be declared to us in writing before transport. We reserve the right to refuse or apply additional conditions to the carriage of such goods. We will not accept goods prohibited by law, including items prohibited by Australian customs, biosecurity or road transport regulations.
7. Liability and Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our services may come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from the services will be limited, at our option, to the resupply of the services or the cost of having the services supplied again.
Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of business or loss of goodwill, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount of the fees charged for the relevant service.
8. Insurance
Goods carried by Veyron Logistics are subject to our standard liability terms. If you require additional insurance cover for your goods, you must arrange this with us or your own insurer before consignment. We will not be liable for loss or damage to goods not covered by an agreed insurance arrangement.
9. Timeframes and Delivery
Delivery timeframes provided in quotes or service agreements are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing. We are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including weather, traffic, road closures, industrial action, natural disasters, or delays caused by third parties, customs or biosecurity authorities.
10. Claims for Loss or Damage
Any claim for loss of or damage to goods must be reported to us in writing as soon as practicable, and in any event within 14 days of delivery (or the expected delivery date). Claims must be accompanied by supporting evidence, including photographs and any relevant documentation. Failure to report a claim within this period may result in the claim being denied, subject to the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Privacy
We collect and handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available at privacy.html on our website. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate services immediately where you breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, or where the goods are illegal or unsafe. Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.
15. Governing Law
